New Coastal branch manager to hire team

Coastal Community Bank announced that Terri Stefnik has joined the bank as vice president and branch manager for its newest location in South Everett that is expected to open in fall. Stefnik, a long-time Everett resident and 25-year banking veteran, will be hiring staff over the next few months to round out her team.

Savvy Traveler hosts series of travel seminars

Fall orcharding class planned

The Northwest Agriculture Business Center Fall Orcharding workshop is Sept. 19 at Skagit Valley Gardens. The fee is $95 and includes all class materials, beverages and lunch. March of Dimes seeks nomination for nurse of the year

Nominations for the Washington Nurse of the Year Awards are being accepted through Sept. 5. Registered nurses working at all staff levels in Washington, in good standing with the Washington State Nursing Commission and a resident of Washington for at least one year, are eligible to be nominated. McClain Insurance sponsors AquaSox Family Fest

McClain Insurance Services is a signature sponsor for the AquaSox Family Fest on Saturday and Sunday at Memorial Stadium. The event featured local vendors’ booths, family fun activities, prizes and raffles. PEMCO’s Wally van provided free souvenir photo lanyards and McClain sponsored peanut shell collection bags to help keep the ballpark clean.
