PNAA to host ‘Women in Aerospace’ luncheon

Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance is hosting its first Women in Aerospace Luncheon on July 25 at the Museum of Flight in Seattle to recognize the accomplishments of women in the changing aerospace industry. The three-hour luncheon is open to men and women. Cost for the event is $75 for PNAA members and $100 for non-members. Go to www.pnaa.net for information.

Grant pays for ukuleles for Edmonds Center for the Arts

Edmonds Center for the Arts has been awarded a grant from the Harrington-Schiff Foundation to purchase a collection of ukuleles for student use during its new Hawaiian Summer Keiki Camp. The new program is in partnership with Grammy award-winning Keoki Kahumoku, ukulele artist Kalei Gamiao, and Kumu Hula Krista Espiritu of Hula O Lehualani (Hula School).

Health screenings offered by Community Health Center, Molina Healthcare

Community Health Center of Snohomish County and Molina Healthcare came together on June 21 to provide free health screenings for the local community. Community Health Center is a non-profit primary health care provider dedicated to serving the uninsured and underserved populations.
