SPOKANE — Gonzaga has signed 6-foot-10 forward Domantas Sabonis, the 17-year-old son of former NBA center Arvydas Sabonis.
The Bulldogs on Thursday announced Sabonis had signed an NCAA letter of intent. Sabonis joins an incoming class that includes guards Josh Perkins, Silas Melson and Bryan Alberts.
Coach Mark Few said Sabonis is a skilled basketball player who should make an immediate impact on the program.
Sabonis was born in Portland when his father played for the NBA’s Trail Blazers.
