SNOHOMISH — An Arlington woman was injured and three vehicles were damaged after a truck hauling lumber lost its load early Tuesday morning on Highway 9 near Snohomish.
Four vehicles were involved. The accident occurred around 4:30 a.m.
The injured woman, 64, was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. Her SUV was described by the Washington State Patrol as a total loss.
Troopers said the truck was hauling two trailers when it lost its load as it headed south on Highway 9 from the Second Street onramp.
Two vehicles behind the truck hit the lumber that had fallen into roadway, and then crashed into each other. A pickup also was damaged.
