A series of financial workshops will be presented in Spanish at the Expo Finanzas: Su Dinero, Su Futuro event 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Monroe-Sky Valley Family YMCA, 14033 Fryelands Blvd. in Monroe.
The event is presented by nonprofit organizations including the United Way of Snohomish County and the Consulate of Mexico in Seattle.
Free workshops at the family-friendly event, all in Spanish, will cover home ownership, credit counseling, saving, small-business development and education.
YMCA family bike ride: The Marysville Family YMCA is holding its inaugural “All-In Family Bike Ride,” a poker ride along the Snohomish Centennial Trail on April 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Riding begins and ends at the Snohomish Centennial Trail North Trailhead at Nakashima Barn.
There will be family-friendly activities at the trailhead all day long, and many routes to choose from: eight, 24, 36, 48 or 60 miles. There will also be a two-mile training-wheel ride and finisher ribbons for participants.
Register before March 24 for the best rates. Proceeds from the event support the Marysville Family YMCA Annual Campaign.
