Are you and your fiance baseball fans? Interested in a cool venue for your wedding?
The AquaSox minor league baseball team is looking for a couple to get married at home plate this summer.
Last year, Cullen and Stacie Jackson became the first to tie the knot at Everett Memorial Stadium. Their family and friends filled the stands. Afterward, he threw out the first pitch of the game. Old-style Cracker Jack boxes, bags of peanuts and vases of used baseballs decorated the reception tables under a tent on the first base line. The wedding music was prerecorded on a baseball park organ.
Erica Fensterbush of the organization’s front office said there is a growing interest in baseball-game weddings. such an event at the ballpark costs just a tad more than a child’s blowout birthday party there, she said. People interested in an AquaSox wedding should contact Fensterbush at 425-258-3673 or ericaf@aquasox.com.
