Deputy on motorcycle suffers minor injuries in spill

ARLINGTON -- A Snohomish County sheriff's deputy was injured slightly Tuesday morning after taking a spill from his motorcycle.
The accident occurred after 9 a.m. near the southbound ramp of I-5 near Smokey Point, sheriff's office chief Kevin Prentiss said.
The officer was treated for scrapes and bruises.
Slippery road conditions contributed to the accident, Prentiss said.
