The Wildcats pitcher threw another complete game -- his fifth of the season -- to improve to 6-0 and was 3-for-3 in a win Monday, and homered, doubled and knocked in three runs in a win Friday as the Wildcats completed a sweep of Cascade Conference-rival Lakewood and got head coach Stan Taloff his 500th career victory.

Softball | Everett
In a week in which the Seagulls held their opponents scoreless in two victories, the Everett pitcher threw nine shutout innings and had a double as the Seagulls improved to 12-0 and a No. 2 ranking.

Boys soccer | Lake Stevens
The Vikings midfielder scored two goals and had an assist in a win over Stanwood and also had an assist in a win over Kamiak as Lake Stevens went 3-0 last week to set up a big Wesco North showdown with Marysville Pilchuck tonight.

Girls tennis | Stanwood
The Spartans No. 1 singles player beat two of the best Wesco South singles players last week, topping Edmonds-Woodway's Myint-zu Kyaw 6-0, 6-2 and Kamiak's Sally Park 6-1, 6-2.

Golf | Everett
The Seagulls girls golfer won medalist honors twice last week shooting modified Stableford scores of 34 and 30 in a pair of Everett victories.

Track | Marysville Pilchuck
The Tomahawks sprinter set personal records in the 100 (12.70) and 200-meter (25.82) dashes in winning both events at the Mount Si Invitational over the weekend and also ran a leg of MP's first-place 1,600-meter relay team as the Tomahawks tied host Mount Si for first in the girls team totals.
