The University of Washington showed off the progress of the Husky Stadium renovations during a tour Monday. The $250 million renovation project includes an earlier removal of the entire lower bowl and south upper deck, both of which will be completely rebuilt, and the removal of the track. The stadium floor will be lowered, seats will be moved closer to the field, a parking garage will be added and a football operations facility that includes a locker room, weight and meeting rooms, players lounge and coaches offices will be included under the west end seating area. The stadium is expected to open in time for 2013 season and will seat about 70,000 fans. Check out a gallery of photos from the tour.
