ARLINGTON -- Police on Sunday arrested a man and woman suspected of playing a role in multiple burglaries and forgery crimes.

Arlington police served a search warrant Sunday afternoon at a home in the 4500 block of 193rd Place NE, northwest of the airport, city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.

They arrested a man, 35, and a woman, 34, for investigation of identity theft and possession of stolen property.

Several stolen items were recovered from the home, Banfield said. Police now are trying to determine what role the two may have played in numerous burglaries in the Snohomish County area.
