Sex offender moving into Arlington neighborhood

ARLINGTON -- Police here are warning neighbors about a convicted sex offender who will be living in the 18800 block of Smokey Point Boulevard.

Brian David Ormsby, 48, is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to reoffend.

Ormsby has been convicted of various sex offenses and other crimes dating back to the early 1980s. His convictions include first-degree statutory rape and second-degree rape. His most recent conviction was for second-degree assault in 2009.

Ormsby is described as white, about 5-foot-9 and 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
