EVERETT -- Police are asking for help identifying a serial robber who's been targeting Everett mini-marts.
Detectives believe the same robber held up four Shell stations in the past six weeks, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said. All of the robberies followed a similar pattern.
The man entered the store late at night or early in the morning. He told the clerk he had a handgun and demanded money but doesn't show a weapon, Goetz said.
The man usually is dressed in blue jeans and a gray hoodie-style sweatshirt with a dark bandana and tennis shoes. He uses the hood and bandanna to cover his face.
The man is described as white, in his late teens or 20s, and about 5-foot-10 with a slender build.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call 425-257-8450.
