TULALIP -- An Arlington man died Tuesday night in a one-vehicle accident on the Tulalip Indian Reservation.

The driver, 33, died at the accident scene, Snohomish County Sheriff's Office chief Kevin Prentiss said.

Preliminary information indicates a white Chevrolet pickup truck left the roadway and struck a tree, Prentiss said.

Detectives from the sheriff's office Collision Investigation Unit are trying to determine what caused the accident.

The man's identification will be made by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office, Prentiss said.

The crash, reported around 10:45 p.m., occurred in the 9200 block of Turk Drive.
